Based in Atlanta's Vine City and English Avenue Communities. We have hepled secure community benefit agreements to help our communities survive the impacts of gentrification. I advocated along side the National Monuments Foundation for the creation of Rodney Mims Cook Park which transformed a site of ecological devastation that directly impacted our members into a beautiful space for gathering and recreation that supports our communities climate resistance and eco-diversity.
When Called, we answer. Since 1997 we have continued to offer workshops on financial literacy and holistic wellness to members of our communities. We work based on need not based on the whims of funders so our workshops derive from the direct request of community and community based organizations.
Most recently, we have begun to offer fiscal sponsorship to groups and projects that we believe extend our mission into the 21st century and beyond. Our first sponsored project is the "embodied spiritual-political education project" The Church of Black feminist Thought.
